I've decided that as I am doing very well in this challenge with a daily run of 3.00 miles on average that I want to up my challenge target.
Therefore the strapline on the front page now reads: "I intend on running at least 1 mile every day for a year in honour of those who have, and who have not beaten Cancer with a target to achieve at least 1,000 miles in the year." So far I have run 338.86 miles and the projection is coming in at 1,094.55 miles so I should smash it. Who knows - if I continue at this pace the target may go up again!

A significant milestone today as I completed my 100th run and passed 300 miles. To cap it off I also ran my fastest 5K in 28:39 with a new best pace of 8:57 per mile.
The graphic above shows how I am tracking my progress as I record the details of each run. Only 265 days to go! So a fun week:
Oh, and I know its not running but I also threw in there a 5 mile night hike as well between two 3+ mile runs! |
