So today was supposed to be the last day, but due to illness and hospital stays I need to keep going until the 1st September. Ran early to allow myself to enjoy the day and what a great day I had spending it with the family.
Out in the evening for a great meal with the extended family.

... I pass 1,100 miles - that's 100 miles in 23 days. That also included the final two races of the East Midlands 2018 Grand Prix series - Harborough 5 miles and Milton Keynes 10k. Both were run in good times and I look forward to taking them on again next year.
This is my latest tracking and when I look at these numbers I realise just how far I have come - remembering in April 2017 I started the Couch to 5K - if I can do it anyone can. A flat run back from Sainsbury's meant that I was able to get a good pace and keep going. Surprised myself how I was able to keep this going but really happy. Another hour later and it would have been a lot tougher as the heat rose rapidly during the day.
The Milton Keynes 10K - the final run in the East Midlands Grand Prix 2018 series. Official time was 53:32 - strange as I started the clock after everyone had started running. Good time though and it is very close to the Silverstone time which started the series. I've completed 5 races (Silverstone, Rugby, Weedon, Harborough and Milton Keynes) so really pleased with that.
